Hunslet Gala Day 2014 - What a Great Day it was

Saturday 21st June 2014 was the 11th 

 Hunslet Community Gala organized by Hunslet Festival. The weather was fantastic and what a great day it turned out to be.

The official opening was Done by  The Lord Mayor of Leeds 

Cllr David Congreve, 

and Also Hilary Benn and our local Councillors were there Too.

In the Family Arena there was a selection of dance, sports, music, games and juggling to enjoy. 

The children were kept entertained by Punch & Judy

 

 Other activities on the main field included bungy trampolines, a climbing tower, some small children’s rides and three inflatables, including ‘Titanic’, one of the largest inflatable slides in the country.

There also acts Such as Keldon school Of Dance 

 Plus There were New Activityies This year which were paintball and Archery and was enjoyed By All

The organising committee would like to thanks all the acts, exhibitors and stallholders, ride & activity operators, sponsors and all those to helped make it run so smoothly it was A Fantastic Day for the Gala Team.

Well done to the organisers, one of the best ever 

Next Years Gala will be On Saturday 20th June 2015
